今回のシンポジウムの招待講演はフォーカスした内容になっていますが、ご発 表の内容は、人工塩基対や人工アミノ酸に直接関わらなくても大歓迎です。

人工の塩基対とアミノ酸を用いる合成生物学研究は、ライフサイエンスにおけ る多くの課題を解決し、ライフ・イノベーションの推進と創薬・医療等への応 用にも将来つながると期待されます。幅広い分野より多くの皆様の御参加をお 待ちしております。

The 65th Fujihara Seminar, "International Symposium on Synthetic Biology of Unnatural Base Pairs and Amino Acids", which will be held on October 1-4, 2013 in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, Japan (http://sbl.riken.jp/fujihara-seminar/index.html) is approaching.

I would like to have participants from wide areas of biology, including biochemistry, nucleic acid chemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, chemical biology, structural biology, and, of course, synthetic biology, whereas the invited specialists of unnatural base pairs and/or amino acids will give talks mostly on the technologies related to unnatural base pairs and/or amino acids. Even if you are not doing "synthetic biology of unnatural base pairs or amino acids", I would like you to present what you are studying now for discussion at the symposium on future application of unnatural base pairs and/or amino acids in your research fields. Therefore, the themes of poster presentation may not be focused on technologies or applications of unnatural base pairs or amino acids.
